As you might have been able to tell from the frequency of posts, its a tricky balance to make time for all the things I want to do (like blogging) when working full time. Nevertheless, luckily the weekends were invented for having fun and occasionally you just need a break from the ordinary.
I'm very blessed to have a friend in my new city who is spontaneous enough to jump the wagon and on a whip we bought our festival tickets and our tent just a couple of days before the festival. On the saturday morning of the first weekend in July we had our ride pick us up (go Uber!) and off to Paradise City we went.
A chilled out summer weekend disconnected from the internet and the computer with amazing food and drinks in a nice setting, bouncing to music with my partner in crime was the p-e-r-f-e-c-t mini break from the buzz of the city and the ultimate relaxation.
I really hope this will be our summer tradition for years to come and something to look forward to during the winter months.
We have to talk about the food!
Amazing, wholesome, fresh and tasty. This must have been the first festival ever without a stomach of the size of an balloon - a true #feelgood weekend!
My favorite from the weekend food wise was the PUZZLES food truck. No joke I had their falafels like 3 times in 2 days and their quinoa burger was just to die for. In case you share my love for falafel and a good (in this case meat free) burger, you gotta try PUZZLES.
